07:29 am Two days ago, Bjorik and Keld showed up at the Villa Domina. I thought they were looking for me, so I ran into the other building and hid out in #30.
A little while later, Steve Smith, the guy who lives in #30, called me up on the cell phone and asked me if I knew the two big guys in the hallway. I admitted that I did.
A little while after that, Steve, Sandra Lee from #11, and these two guys named Peter and John showed up, along with Kevin and Sebastian.
Turns out the two big slabs were looking for Kevin and Sebby, not me. Ooops. Apparently, they're the sidhe and satyr who showed up out of nowhere last July, and then disappeared.
The conversation got very weird after that -- suffice it to say that I mentioned it was like the Crisis on Infinite Earths. If you don't get it, don't ask.
The whole thing between me and Cryssie sort of slipped out while we were talking. Sandra thinks I'm screwed. Maybe she's right, but I'm not going down without a fight. I'd rather be dead than married to Prissy Cryssie, anyway.
I hope this hasn't ruined my chances with Ceara, because I really like her.... Current Mood: stressed

10:01 am I am such a numbskull sometimes!
Last night, I went over to Kevin, Sebby and Mickey's. A couple people were there -- the troll and the sidhe from #10 (whose names are Gordon and Julian, respectively), Mickey's friend Aya...and Ceara.
We had a pretty good time watching the movie and chatting afterwards -- then I opened my big mouth and told them about Cryssie. Fuck.
Hopefully I haven't totally ruined my chances to get to know Ceara better after I shot off my mouth. I really have to learn not to blab about my problems in mixed company.... Current Mood: gloomy

02:39 pm Well, I've moved into #15 in the Villa Domina - right across from that pretty brunette. Turns out her name is Ceara (or Cheryl to the mortals). Pretty name - it suits her.
I've also met my next-door neighbors: a satyr by the name of Sebastian, a sidhe named Keighvyn, and their mortal girlfriend, a cute little thing named Michiko ("Mickey" to the favored). Sebastian and Mickey brought over some brownies when I was moving in, and helped me put together the entertainment center. Maybe I should invite them over to watch TV sometime as a thank you. Those brownies were good.
Oh! Talk about your small world - it turns out Sebastian & Keighvyn are originally from Ohio, too. Wonder if they got out for the same reasons I did?
The only thing I have to do now is keep clear of Parnell, Crysania and their big blue bodyguards. They don't know I've got an apartment of my own, and it'd be just like them to drag me back with them if they found out. A lifetime of being shackled to Prissy Cryssie - no thanks! What did I ever see in her? Maybe it was my little head talking the night I proposed to her; I don't know anymore.
What I do know is that I'm not ever going back to the County of Buckeyes. I wonder if I can ask Prince Llew, or even the duke and duchess, for asylum here? Worth looking into.... Current Mood: indescribable

07:14 pm - Freedom! Finally got the hell away from Parnell, Crysania and the troll twits.
So I went driving around Lyonsville, seeing what there was to see, and found this really neat place called "Spook Diner." It was such a nice change from the swanky places that Crysania always wants to eat at. Escargot? Gimme a burger any day!
So while I was eating, these two lookers come in and get a table near mine. One of them was dark-haired and on crutches, the other a little skinny, but still cute.
As I was finishing up, the waiter brings me a piece of baklava, and says it's from the two at the other table. The baklava was sweet, but the thought of getting to know those two was even sweeter, so after I finished up, I came over and introduced myself.
The dark-haired cutie is Aaron Frost, and the slim one is Maximilian Frost. And no, they're not related. Well, maybe by affection. :)
To make a long story short, we ended up meeting back at their place. It's an apartment complex called the Villa Domina -- used to be a church and a parish school. It's got these gorgeous floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows, and the buildings are really pretty.
I'm not really sure why, but Aaron and Max made me feel secure enough around them that I told them about me and Crysania, Parnell, and the rest. About how I don't really fit in at the County of Buckeyes, how I feel stifled by Crysania, and how I want out of the relationship. The wonderful thing is, they actually understood. And I haven't had too many fucks that were that nice, either.
After a while, they took me on a tour of the place. I got to meet some of the neighbors -- a really nice older lady who gave us some cookies, and a really pretty brunette -- a sidhe. I don't know what it was about her, but she was so beautiful. I wonder if there's an apartment open near hers?
So i'm going to go over and fill out a lease tomorrow -- it'll be a damn sight better than hanging around with the old dried-up stick, his grabby heiress, and their blue slabs. Freedom, here I come! Current Mood: cheerful
